The domain transfer process is pretty simple but there are a few rules set forth by the governing body of domain names that you need to be aware of:
- A domain that has been registered or transferred within the last 60 days cannot be transferred.
- The administrative contact listed on the domain will be sent an email request to confirm the transfer by the company you are transferring the domain to (us) and the company that is losing the domain name. These requests must be confirmed for the transfer to proceed.
